Namibia National Cybersecurity Competition (NNCSC) is a multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral cybersecurity awareness platform, Annual cybersecurity competition events since 2015. Annual stakeholder engagements. Vendor and competition neutral environment (Private Sector Approach).
Exposure and networking
Sensitise civil society, industry, academia, government and non governmental agencies and other stakeholders on the growing risks associated with cyber systems. Suggest and implement solutions to mitigate the ever growing cybersecurity risks.
Learning environment
A simulated environment (attack-and-defence) using client-server architecture. Scenario based (normally originating from industry defined problems or projects based on current trending challenges). Defend the network from industry security professionals (a.k.a attackers).
Our 2025 Championship Winners
Champion (1st place) - UNAM Team
Runner-up (2nd place) - NUST Team
Second Runner-up (3rd place) - Lingua College Team
Four higher education institutions participated this year, including Nust, Lingua College, UNAM and the International University of Management (IUM).
